Dartry Swim Team
David Tyrell Swim Programme Co-ordinator & Coach
Dave hails from Wexford and is a Level 2 swim teacher with Swim Ireland. “I have 15 years experience teaching private and group lessons. I have also spent many years teaching kids with disabilities at all different levels.
Swimming is a life skill and when taught at a young age it can have a massive impact on your child’s life.
I believe in making sure the kids are having fun while we teach. There have been few greater pleasures in life, than watching children learn to blow bubbles underwater, float on their backs independently, successfully dive into a pool, master a flip turn and at last take on the butterfly!
But mostly it is about being confident, having fun and being safe in the water”.
Alex qualified and worked as a PE teacher in Argentina from 2001. He specialised in swimming and football as these were areas he excelled in. Alex is a Level 2, Swim Ireland Qualified Instructor and brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the eam.
